Ash bowling club was set up in 1977 with a second hand club house from the Chester Road club in Whitchurch. It is a popular Club hosting three teams in the Whitchurch league, three in the Market Drayton league and two others in the Senior Citizens league.
With much hard work and dedication the Club raised the funds and installed their new clubhouse in 2010 making this a pleasant and functional centre for bowlers of all ages and abilities, and hosting of social activities.

Wind forward to 2017-18 and the members of this highly successful Club are worked hard to enhance the clubhouse, upgrading its pathways and outdoor function area and install new flood lighting.
